How LUMINA SHAPE™ HIFU Works

The technology operates as a "non-surgical facelift" by applying focused ultrasound energy to precise depths beneath the skin. 

• Deep Layer Penetration (SMAS): Unlike superficial laser treatments, HIFU reaches the SMAS layer (4.5mm), which is the same foundational layer tightened during traditional surgery, to provide a firm lifting effect.
• Thermal Coagulation: The device heats tissue to 60–70°C, causing controlled thermal coagulation points (TCPs). This heat triggers the body's natural wound-healing process, stimulating fibroblasts to produce new collagen and elastin.
• Variable Depths: LUMINA SHAPE™ machines use different cartridges to treat specific areas, including 1.5mm and 2.0mm for fine lines/upper dermis, 3.0mm for collagen stimulation, and 4.5mm for lifting, along with 6.0mm–13mm for body fat reduction.
• Fat Reduction (Lipolysis): When used on the body, the machine breaks down fat cells in the subcutaneous layer, which are then naturally eliminated by the body.
